Anal bleaching
What is anal bleaching?
Anal bleaching is the lightening of the skin around the anal region using chemicals. This is especially common in the porn industry. This is why the performers always look so bright there. Anal bleaching is a chemical process that can cause severe irritation to the skin.
Why is the skin in the anal area darker?
The anal area of most people is slightly darker in colour than the skin around it, especially in dark-haired, southern types. This is due to pigment cells (known as melanocytes) that produce melanin. These are in turn the pigments that also give our hair its colour. In the intimate area, the melanin is deposited in the skin layers, it thickens and darker coloured areas may appear. This is completely normal and should not be seen as a flaw.
Is it dangerous?
The skin around the anus is very sensitive, so the side effects vary from person to person and can range from redness to burning and itching. What you should never do is order "bleaching creams" from the Internet and apply them yourself. Creams containing hydroquinone are also suspected of being carcinogenic. Most of these creams are therefore not allowed on the Swiss market.
Do I have to bleach my anus too?
No, you definitely do not need to bleach your anus. Nor are there any medical reasons why you should do so. Anal skin whitening is a purely cosmetic procedure, the motivation and reasons for which should be well considered.
