The penis
Can the penis break during sex?
Since the penis has no bone, it cannot break. However, the erectile tissue can be injured by abrupt movements. This is called a "penis fracture". A penis fracture is also called a penis rupture. This is a tear in the corpus cavernosum or the surrounding membrane. A penile fracture occurs when the erect penis is forcibly bent during sex or masturbation. It is noticeable by a cracking sound and severe pain on the penis, as a result of which clearly visible swellings and bruises form. Some sexual practices are particularly risky, for example when during sex the woman rides the man and the penis slides out of the vagina and bumps against the woman's pelvic bone with her full weight. Other sources of danger are manipulations with solid objects such as a hoover pipe during masturbation. In the case of penile fracture, self-treatment is not enough; immediate medical measures are required. As immediate first aid, you can hold the penis firmly and cool it. Then off to the emergency room, where the rupture is closed by surgery.
How do I find the right condom?
Make sure you choose a condom that fits perfectly. If the condom is too wide, it can slip off, and if it is too tight, it could tear. A well-fitting condom covers the entire erect penis, but does not make too many folds. The right condom can be easily unrolled with thumb and forefinger without any effort. In the ceylor range you will find various models in standard sizes. Thanks to the highly elastic latex material, most of you should be able to manage. Otherwise, there is ceylor Large for big sizes or the V-shaped ceylor Tight Feeling with a narrowed opening, which fits particularly snugly. In addition to sizes and shapes, you can choose from coloured, flavoured and nubby models. With or without lubricant. Made of natural rubber latex or latex-free polyurethane. Haven't found your favourite yet? Then we recommend the ceylor Fun Pack, which contains a variety of condoms, so you're sure to find your favourite.
How do I calculate my condom size?
Measure the circumference of your penis to find out the right size. For a circumference of 8.5-10.0 cm: ceylor Tight Feeling (Ø45). For a circumference of 10.0-11.5 cm: ceylor Standard condoms (Ø52) + Non Latex (Ø58). For a circumference of 11.5-12.5 cm: ceylor Large (Ø55).
How do I store my condoms?
Condoms should be stored at a temperature between 5 and 25 degrees Celsius. All ceylor condoms are well protected from damage as long as they are packed in their original condom sachet. However, when travelling or on holiday, make sure that your condoms are not damaged by frost or heat. For example, backpacks in the blazing sun or glove compartments in cars that heat up are not suitable places to store condoms. Condoms should also not be exposed to large temperature fluctuations. Check the expiry date before each use. It is written on the bottom of each box and on the back of the condom capsule. Do not use the condom after the expiry date.
